Cleaning your Bathroom

The bathroom is a place for fun, solitude and leisure. Come to think of it, we use the bathroom every single day for many things like getting dressed, shaving, putting on your make-up, and some people spend a substantial amount of time using the bathtub. And it is nice to have a shiny and clean bathroom to use everyday. Therefore, here are some cleaning tips for your bathroom.

The first thing you must do is to have a clean-up plan and get organize. Reserve a day for the job and then make a list of all things you want to achieve throughout the cleaning. It is significant to be precise and detailed when making your task list. Once you have established and are aware of the tasks involved, you now have to consider what cleaners and tools that will help you get all your tasks accomplished.

You will need a pail and brush or mop to work on the floor. Extra things that you need are towels or dust cloth, an old toothbrush, sponges, and glass and bathroom cleaners. You may also need a step stool or chair to access high windows, light fixtures, or ceilings.

You have to to remove all the old stuff lying around collecting dust before you start using the sponge. Discard all the makeup and skin care products that are already expired and you know you will never use. Recycle all empty bottles. Once you have a clean slate and have reduced the mess, then you can start working on flows, walls, ceiling, bathroom vanity and mirror.

Start with the hardest part: work on your sink, toilet, bathtub, tiles and all surfaces. Clean with a sponge and good quality disinfecting cleanser. For things like a mirror, you can use a mixture of one part vinegar and two parts water in a spray bottle.

Remove all items stored in your closets, shelves, etc. and then wipe cabinets, shelves and other storage systems in your bathroom with a disinfecting cleaner. Arrange all the items back in storage space. Rinse the sink, toilet, and tube with cold water with the shower head. Do not forget to clean up your trash can by wiping it inside and out. You may also want to wipe other items such as decorative items, to avoid the accumulation of dust. And finally, clean the floor with a mop.
